Qu'est-ce que le Doctorate in Business Administration ?

Le Doctorate in Business Administration est un cursus basé sur le modèle anglo-saxon qui peut démarrer après l'obtention d'un bac+5.

Le DBA permet d'affirmer une expertise dans une spécialité, en s'appuyant sur un travail de recherche et de publications. 

Il s'agit d'un cursus de 3 ans de recherche en autonomie avec des séances régulières de revues d'avancements de travaux et de séminaires autour de l'organisation méthodique.

La thématique de départ apporté par le doctorant doit avoir une approche pratique et de terrain. L'objectif est de faire avancer les pratiques.  A l'inverse, le doctorat universitaire part d'une approche théorique.

Le titre final de DBA n'est pas un diplôme national délivré par le ministère de l'enseignement et de la recherche. La reconnaissance académique est ainsi moins forte.

What is the Doctorate in Business Administration at ILCI ?

The Doctorate in Business Administration is a course based on the English & American model which can start after obtaining a Master degree or MBA (bac + 5).

The DBA makes it possible to assert expertise in a specialty, based on research and publications.

This is a 3-year course of independent research with regular sessions of reviews of work progress and seminars on methodical organization.

The starting theme provided by the doctoral student must have a practical and field-based approach. The objective is to advance practices. Conversely, the university doctorate starts from a theoretical approach.

The final DBA title is not a national diploma issued by the Ministry of Education and Research. Academic recognition is thus less strong.

Do you want a double title including a University Doctorate? This option, reserved for the most motivated, is possible thanks to our university partnerships but will require additional work from the researcher.
